Nick spent close to a decade in residential construction before starting Keitz Construction in 2008. Since then he has built a portfolio that runs from kitchen and bath renovations to additions and whole house remodels.
Kelly draws the plans and coordinates the selections. Alex fabricates and installs the built-ins and handles most of the trim. Jennifer keeps the accounting and the day to day running. Nick is on the job from the first walkthrough onward.
That is the whole company, which is why the small decisions get made by someone who knows your house.

The Home Builders Association of Kentucky has been calling Nick's name since 2017.
Nick has twice served as President of the Building Industry Association of Central Kentucky.
He was named Remodeler of the Year in 2017 and again in 2018.

Accounting / Office Manager
Marketing degree from the University of Kentucky and more than ten years of management experience. Full time with Keitz since 2016.
Kelly Barnes
Interior Designer / Project Coordinator
Interior Design degree from Eastern Kentucky University and more than seventeen years designing interiors in Lexington and the surrounding counties.
Alex
Lead Carpenter
With Keitz since 2020. Heads up the fabrication and installation of the custom built in units, most of the trim, and the final punch out.
Andres
Project Assistant
Joined the crew in 2023. Assists with carpentry, runs material to the job sites, and keeps the projects clear of debris.

Through the local Home Builders Association and BIA Cares, Nick has helped build an accessible home for a Lexington teenager who was paralyzed in an accident.
He is a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and has been heavily involved in Build-A-Bed, a mission project that builds beds from scratch for local children who need them.
Nick lives in Lexington with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children, Logan and Anna.
